Our Priority

Our priority for children is to provide the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus in a loving, safe and secure environment. Children are valued as active and vital participants in the life of our church family. The programs we offer are created to make a lasting impact in their day-to-day lives, even from a child’s earliest years.

On Sunday Mornings

All ages and classes will explore the same Bible story each Sunday morning.

3 & UNDER Nursery open 9am-12pm

4-YEAR OLDS TO 5TH GRADE

—9am/11am KIDS WORSHIP (in Sanctuary til Kids Time, then to Kids Center, PR Chapel)

—10am BIBLE CLASS (Kids Center, Rm 8)

If you prefer your kids stay in "big" Worship with you, we offer a couple of options…

—WORSHIP BAGS Located in the foyer, featuring paper, crayons, and fidget busters to keep little hands occupied. Please return at the end of Worship for other children to use.

—PRAYGROUND This space in the front of the Sanctuary is intended especially for families with infants and toddlers, recognizing that small kids are often more engaged when they can see what’s going on. Small tables and chairs, baby swings and seats, and soft toys help keep our littlest community members occupied.

At LTUMC, nothing is more important to us than the safety and security of your children. Big Faith invites children to explore their faith in the context of their everyday lives. Within each session, children will be introduced to a faith concept; will explore a Bible story together through storytelling and video; will participate in age-appropriate, hands-on activities; and will reflect on and share what they have learned with one another.

Big Faith helps children discover how their faith can grow into an integral part of their everyday lives. This curriculum honors children as naturally curious and spiritual beings, with an innate sense of God’s presence. Through timeless Bible stories, hands-on activities, and child-friendly themes, Big Faith helps children discover, develop, and practice their faith in a trusted community.

Old-Fashioned Hymn Sing & Ice Cream

6pm • Worship Ctr • All ages!

Come sing your favorite hymns by request, then we’ll top the evening with ice cream treats!

All ages are welcome to join us for a joyful evening of familiar and beloved hymns in our Worship Center, followed by ice cream treats in the Wesley Room.

5th Sunday Worship & Lunch

11am All-Ages Church-Family Worship (Worship Ctr)
12pm Churchwide Lunch (Activities Ctr)

5TH SUNDAYS are special day of worship, fellowship and fun here at LTUMC!
—At 10am, adult Sunday School classes will meet, students (6th-12th) will meet in the Activities Ctr loft, while Bible Class is held in the Kids Ctr.
—At 11am, our entire church family will gather for one service of the day for an all-ages worship.
—After worship, we'll gather for a delicious lunch!

June-August

Creative Summer Camps

FOR AGES 6-13 — CreatorCamp will be on our campus this summer hosting a fantastic range of 2- and 3-day creative tech camps with the mission of redirecting your child’s relationship with technology from consumption to creation. They show kids how to take control of their digital experience and use it to fuel their dreams. CreatorCamp is laser-focused on creating the safest, most fun, and most educationally enriching camps possible!
